Debbie Reynolds’ Marilyn Costumes Sold at Profiles in History

The second half of Debbie Reynolds’ Collection was auctioned at Profiles in History yesterday, with four of Marilyn’s movie costumes selling for more than $200,000 each.

  • Travilla aubergine gown with jacket from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes sold for $260,00
  • Dorothy Jeakins ‘Let’s Make Love’ gown sold for $240,000
  • Travilla corset from Bus Stop sold for $230,000
  • Dorothy Jeakins’ Niagara blue jacket and skirt ensemble sold for $210,000
